Ken sent this about his and Jon’s dawn painting session;
“Day one, I managed to wake up before dawn and with the aid of a headlamp tried to capture the rapidly changing light with not much success. The painting went on until mid-morning and in the end, that’s what it looked like. The next morning was overcast so didn’t make it out of bed. The next morning I looked out to find Jon at his post, working in the dark. I quickly joined him and, as we tried to keep up with the stunning light show which changed every few minutes, it went from frustration to having a good laugh at the impossibility of it all.”
