NICOLE STEENHOF

Nicole Steenhof (b. 1990)  is a visual artist based in Shoalwater, Western Australia, on Binjareb, Whadjuk and Nyoongar land. She has recently completed post graduate studies in Fine Art from Curtin University, with a selection of works acquired by the John Curtin Gallery public collection. She is interested in the concept of hydrocommons, exploring the idea of being a body of water among and within bodies of water. Steenhof enjoys working with both oil paints and post consumer items for her sculpture. Her works encourage an intimate notice and imagination for life within its varied states.
